Một bài báo đăng trên arXiv đã trình bày chi tiết về DeepSeek Elastic Compute, hay DSec, một nền tảng sandbox được thiết kế để huấn luyện các tác nhân (agent) quy mô lớn. Nhà sáng lập DeepSeek, Liang Wenfeng, nằm trong số hơn 130 tác giả của bài báo này.

DSec hợp nhất các sandbox dạng function-call, container, microVM và full-VM, đồng thời điều phối vòng đời của chúng với các khối lượng công việc học tăng cường (reinforcement learning). Bài báo cho biết một đơn vị ở quy mô sản xuất bao gồm khoảng 160 node, hỗ trợ khoảng 3 triệu sandbox mỗi ngày và hơn 380.000 sandbox đồng thời, cùng khả năng tạo ra hơn 5.000 sandbox mỗi giây.
